Use two photos of the same view, ideally taken from the same spot. The after photo is fitted to the shape of the before photo. The HTML download is a single file with both photos inside, resized to 1600 pixels: host it anywhere and embed it with an iframe. The JPG puts both photos side by side or stacked, with labels, for social posts and listing galleries.
If the after photo is virtually staged or digitally altered, label it clearly. Some MLS boards and laws, such as California’s AB 723, require a disclosure and access to the original. A before and after slider is a simple way to show both.

How do I put a before and after slider on my website?
Download the HTML file, upload it to your website or file host, and embed it with the iframe snippet shown under the preview. The file contains both photos, so it needs no other scripts.
Do the two photos need to be the same size?
No, but they should show the same view. The after photo is fitted to the before photo’s shape, so very different crops will not line up.
Can I use this for social media?
Yes. Download the side-by-side or stacked JPG, which shows both photos with labels. It suits Instagram, LinkedIn and listing galleries that do not accept sliders.
Is it free to use for commercial listings?
Yes. The tool is free and you own your photos and exports. The slider shows a small “Made with Splatr” credit that you can switch off.
